Artificial Intelligence and Classical Education
Given the amount of attention, marketing, financial backing, and naïve optimism that currently surrounds Artificial Intelligence, especially as it relates to education, classical school teachers and administrators need to lead their school communities in responding wisely. While AI poses an obvious threat by undermining proper pedagogical practices, it also provides an opportunity for clarity about the purpose, form, and methods of classical education, especially found in its emphasis on the liberal, fine, and common arts. Through having clarity about these fundamental aspects of classical education, our schools will be able to offer substantive and thoughtful guidance through this latest iteration of technocracy. Join us for robust discussion and recommended practices for addressing these issues at your school.
