Andrew Selby, PhD

National Fellow

Dr. Andrew Selby is the language department chair and teaches humanities and Latin at Trinity Classical Academy in Valencia, CA.  He holds a BA in humanities from Biola University where he studied great books at the Torrey Honors College, an MA in historical theology from the University of Toronto, and a PhD in religion from Baylor University.  Dr. Selby has taught students from grade 5 through post-graduate in subjects such as Latin, rhetoric, composition, logic, history, literature, philosophy, Bible, and theology.  He also has conducted various teacher trainings in classical pedagogy and curriculum.  Dr. Selby joined the Alcuin Fellowship as a member of the national board in 2024.
