Retreat Highlights
- Theme: Christianity and Pagan Classical Education. Participants will be asked to read Basil of Caesarea’s Address to Young Men as well as another text TBA prior to the retreat. These texts, along with the presentations, will form a basis for discussions about the relationship between Christianity and pagan classical education.
- Schedule: Thursday reception and dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.; Friday 9:00-5:00 and evening fellowship; Saturday 10:00 a.m. – early afternoon). On Friday evening there will be a reception; on Saturday there will be an optional excursion to the Getty Villa Museum guided by Grant Horner.
